Breaking News: Major Earthquake Hits The Caribbean Saturday Morning

A powerful 7.2 earthquake has hit Haiti this morning, triggering a red alert and is expected to cause a number of casualties. The earthquake hit more towards the western part of Haiti. Authorities also say that a Tsunami warning has been issued for the country. Many are praying for the nation and the people as many are still trying to recover from the devastating earthquake that hit in 2010 that took the lives of more than 200,000 people. The earthquake was said to hit Saturday morning at about 8AM, west of Haiti's capital (Port-au-Prince).

Another weather watch includes a tropical storm that could hit Haiti as well, which is forecasted to cause 10 inches of rain. Other parts of the Caribbean like; The Bahamas, Dominican Republic, Jamaica, Haiti, Puerto Rico, Turks and Caicos Islands, United States Minor Outlying Islands, and Cuba were also impacted by the earthquake.

Though there is not a set number of fatalities, authorities this earthquake will cause a national response.
