Students at Titusville High School were exposed to a pornographic video during an online class.
The video was on the screen long enough for students to record a video of what was going on. School officials are working with the police to find out who was responsible and promised to increase security protocols to ensure nothing like this happens again.
"We have worked closely with our educational technology team as well as the administration at THS to reinforce security measures and protocols as well as provide additional training. The incident was reported to both police and Zoom security for further investigation. While incredibly frustrating, we want to assure our families that we will continue to do all we can to provide a safe learning environment in the midst of a very challenging and unusual school year," Brevard Public Schools spokeswoman Katherine Allen said in a statement.
