Miami-Dade County honored the 400,000 lives lost during the COVID-19 pandemic.
“So many families have lost loved ones during this devastating year. It’s important that we come together as a community and as a nation to mourn, reflect, and remember all those we have lost. We honor their lives by doing everything we can to protect our community and end this pandemic, as we work together for a better future.” Miami-Dade Mayor Daniella Levine Cava said.
County landmarks illuminated in amber in tribute including Hard Rock Stadium, Marlins Park, Miami-Dade Courthouse, and Miami International Airport.
