Last year fans and of course loved ones of actor Chadwick Boseman were left saddened when first finding out that the actor had in fact passed away, ending his battle with colon cancer. Taylor Simone Ledward, Boseman's wife who was not been in the spotlight too much even before the passing of her husband, took a. brave step by speaking in honor of her husband accepting a 'Gotham Award' for him, however her speech was not given without tears.
Gotham Award- The IFP Gotham Awards, selected by distinguished juries and presented in New York City, the home of independent film, are the first honors of the film awards season.
