Lil Baby delivers his first single of the year with “Real As It Gets,” which features EST Gee.
He also released a video directed by Caleb Jermale, in a Supreme hat, North Face jacket and leather pants before heading to the strip club.
The prospect of another solo album is looking likely, and there could be a joint project with Lil Durk in the pipeline.
Earlier in the year he teamed up with Stephen Jackson to throw a surprise birthday party for Gianna Floyd, the daughter of George Floyd who tragically lost his life in police custody on May 25.
Baby funded the party with profits made from his hit “The Bigger Picture.” Gianna was celebrating her seventh birthday and the first without her father.
“L.o.l Surprise Birthday Party. Thank you so much @lilbaby_1 for coming and help me celebrate my 7th Birthday.” She wrote on Instagram.
The socially distant event took place at Atlanta’s Pink Hotel, and was attended by Future, Lil Baby and Stephen Jackson’s kids, along with the children of Rayshard Brooks.
Lil Baby took to his Instagram Stories to pay tribute to George Floyd and wish a happy birthday to Gianna, while giving a tour of the party.
“RIP George Floyd,” Lil Baby wrote on his Instagram. “Happy B Day Gianna from ‘The Bigger Picture.'”
