Megan Thee Stallion Gives $50K To A Frontline Nurse

During a virtual guest appearance on The Ellen DeGeneres Show, Megan Thee Stallion presented frontline nurse Jamelmenique Hoy with $50,000 via Shutterfly to help pay off her student loan debt.

Hoy and her family temporarily deployed to Houston in order for her to volunteer to help treat coronavirus patients. Since making the move her family of seven has been living in a one-bedroom hotel for the past six months, while going to school to earn her master’s degree.

Meg, has voiced aspirations of returning back to school to get her bachelor’s degree in health administration.

“We just need to give you all the praise because, girl, you are putting on for us. And just Black women in general. Thank you so much for everything you’re doing.” Meg said.
