YNW Melly is on trial for murdering 2 of his friends and now the rapper is now being sued by their estates for tens of millions of dollars.
The estates of Christopher Thomas and Anthony Williams filed the wrongful death lawsuits.
Anthony's estate claims Melly murdered him because of money. The suit also names YNW Melly's mother, Jamie King, and his manager, Jameson Francois. The Williams family claims Melly's manager played a role in the murders.
Melly's been in a Florida jail awaiting his double murder trial to begin. He caught COVID-19, however and asked to be let out and placed on house arrest, but was denied.
