Arthur is the first tropical storm of the 2020 season and other than rain, poses no significant risk to Florida.
Arthur formed in the Atlantic Ocean and was officially named on Saturday. Arthur is forecast to move northward over the ocean and approach the eastern shore of North Carolina by Monday. It could strengthen from its current sustained winds of 40 miles per hour to 50-or 60-miles an hour by Tuesday before it swings back eastward away from the coast.
