Organizers of the Ultra Music Festival have officially canceled the 2021 show.
Everyone will have to wait until March in 2022, as the event was scheduled to begin March 26.
Organizers said the conditions created by the event exacerbated the spread of COVID-19, which led to the cancelation last year. Ticket holders received an email stating that their tickets would be valid for future events, as refunds were not issued.
Last year, Ultra faced lawsuits filed by ticket holders who paid hundreds of dollars to attend the event but did not receive refunds. South Florida, and the rest of the world, canceled performances due to Covid-19, and Ultra was among the first events to go in 2021.
