Beyonce Opens Up On "Ask Me Anything" With Elle Magazine

For their January 2020 issue, Beyonce gets candid with Elle Magazine for their "Ask Me Anything."

In an intimate #AMA session with her Beyhive, the superstar opens up about motherhood, self-care, and her new Ivy Park x ADIDAS partnership.

Fans hit Beyonce with some of their most curious questions.

Question: Would we see you at the supermarket or Target? What do you buy?

Beyonce's response: "The last time I went to a supermarket, it was more like a bodega before a Madonna concert. Jay and I snuck into one in Crenshaw and bought some Cuervo and Funyuns chips. And…y’all know you see me at Target and I see y’all trying to sneak pics.”

Question: Do you ever react to negative comments about yourself?

Beyonce's response: “Yes, I’m human. In moments of vulnerability, I try to remind myself I’m strong and I’m built for this. Thank God most of the noise bounces off of me after all of these years."

Question: Everybody’s weight fluctuates. How does it make you feel when people are constantly commenting on your appearance?"

Beyonce's response: “If someone told me 15 years ago that my body would go through so many changes and fluctuations, and that I would feel more womanly and secure with my curves, I would not have believed them,” @beyonce told ELLE. “But children and maturity have taught me to value myself beyond my physical appearance and really understand that I am more than enough no matter what stage I’m at in life. Giving zero 🤬s is the most liberating place to be.”
