Authorities say that 33-year-old Paige Thompson hacked into Capital One's computers ultimately gaining access to personal information of more than 100 million people. Reports have been made that Thompson was caught after seemingly bragging on social media.
According to FoxBusinessNews.com "Thompson made her initial appearance in court Monday and a judge ordered that she be detained pending an Aug. 1 hearing.
If she’s convicted, Thompson faces as much as five years in prison and a $250,000 fine."
