John Legend is racking up even more accolades. He just signed on to join one of the most popular talent shows on television. Legend will join The Voice family for its 16th season.
According to Variety, he will take over the coaching position that is currently being held by Jennifer Hudson for the show’s 15th season, which airs later this month. The 16th season will launch during the spring as John is scheduled to join the returning judges Kelly Clarkson, Adam Levine, and Blake Shelton.
He said, “I’m thrilled to join the coaches of ‘The Voice,’ I’ve been a guest and mentor on the show multiple times and I’m so excited to discover talented singers and help them make the most of their gift. I hope the world is ready for #TeamJL.”
