Issa Rae has definitely been a voice for the urban millenial community. So we could have expected that she would use her platfrom to speak about the controversial Kanye West has said. One of the most shocking remarks are what he said about "slavary being a choice."
During Monday night's Council of Fashion Designers of America (CFDA) Awards ceremony, Issa was hosting and gave her jab in a funnt and quirky way.
"I'm about as fashionable as Kanye is black," Rae said, according to USA Today. "Only when it's convenient. That joke was my choice, just like slavery."
Ye wasn't in the audience to take the comment however, so wifey Kim Kardashian had to endure it.
