Chance The Rapper Debuts Powerful, Heartbreaking Song On 'Colbert' (VIDEO)

On Monday (Sept. 25) night, Chance The Rapper debuted a new song entitled “so new that it doesn’t even have a title yet” on The Late Show With Stephen Colbert.

Canadian R&B/Soul singer Daniel Caesar was featured on it, too. From the moment that we heard Chance say his very first lyric, we instantly knew that the song was going to be extremely powerful. Throughout the track, the artist spoke about missing family members when he's on the road, issues that minorities face in the United States and more.

While speaking to Colbert about debuting the new song on his show, the rapper said: "I was going to do ‘Grown Ass Kid,’ which is an unreleased song from Coloring Book, and then I called you guys Saturday and said I can’t do ‘Grown Ass Kid’ anymore. For reasons I don’t really wanna to talk about. Basically we had to come up with the song in a matter of days and I wanted to do something fresh."
